He's certainly one dapper dude and Scott Foley nabbed the interest of Redbook, scoring an element in 2 Day Diet Pills the mag's December/January issue.

While chatting with the mag, the "Scandal" star discussed being a dad (he and the wife just welcomed their third child) and when he thinks the White House

resembles anything close to his hit ABC series.

On whether he thinks Scandal-esque stuff really continues at the White House:
"Oh God, I really hope so. Obviously, we're adding an inordinate quantity of drama to somewhat realistic situations, however i think you will find secret

meetings and perhaps organizations that nobody knows about doing things that can't be done in the public eye."

On feeling like an old pro with regards to as being a dad:
"We all learn and make it up once we go along. I've gotten more patient and less selfish. The other day, my daughter awoke at 5:30AM on the weekend and was

like, 'Dad, I would like some milk.' And so i got out of bed, warmed some milk in the microwave, and thought 'I'm a good father - despite the fact that I

have my kid in front of the TV.' It is a job that never stops. I haven't slept in years."

How he's gotten better looking with age:
"I do not know, but thanks! When Shonda Rhimes tells you to take your shirt off and 12 million individuals are going to view it Thurs ., you are going to

lose just a little weight, so that'll do it. I've always believed that 45 to 55 is a superb here we are at guys: The body has filled out. Your face doesn't

On always being cast as 'the other guy':
"I think you really never want to be another guy; but as an actress, a love triangle is instant drama, and it is fantastic."
