An obese mum used a $4.99 hypnosis app to reduce four stone and overcome her anxiety about leaving the home.

Nicola Lamb was severely depressed following the birth of her second child Joshua, in December 2012, and ballooned to greater than 14st.

After piling on the pounds the 34-year-old Te Chino Dr Ming's Herbal Tea became too embarrassed to head out and began comforted herself by gorging on takeaways and sugary snacks.

She lived in leggings and jogging bottoms and her self-esteem plummeted.

But after discovering budget hypnosis app Easy Loss, Nicola lost a whopping 4st in just 6 months and dropped from a size 18 to some svelte size 8-10.

Nicola, from Preston, Lancashire, has become the thinnest she has ever been and it has recovered in the crippling post natal depression that left her reluctant to leave the house following childbirth to one-year-old Joshua.

The mum, who also offers two-year-old Mia with husband Chris, said: "I have tried every stupid diet available. I would slim down initially however i would certainly pile it back on again.

"I just stumbled across Easy Loss as I was looking for something that helped me to shed the excess weight permanently on my small iPad and I typed in gastric band.

"I noticed it straight away and thought I would give it a try because it only agreed to be $4.99, and I would spend that simply on a takeaway or a week at Dieters anyway."

And she or he noticed another in her own eating habits almost immediately.

"I noticed a difference immediately, my serving sizes are smaller and today I only eat what I need to eat. It simply worked, I can not explain it," she said.

The app has not only helped her shift the weight but it has boosted her confidence and helped her overcome crippling post natal depression.

She said: "After I had Joshua I was severely depressed and just ate complete rubbish. I had been a shell of my former self.

"The post natal depression came on with being told I would never have children, to any or all of a sudden having two tiny babies to maintain.

"I was too embarrassed to leave the home, it was sink or swim for me and I just sank. The more weight I placed on the more depressed I acquired.

"And basically did go out the anxiety would certainly be too much, it might get out of hand."

Former accountant Nicola has always battled together with her weight, but now, at just 10st, she's the silliest she has been since her childhood.

And, because of her new confidence, she also does a Zumba class two times a week to keep her weight down and improve her fitness.

"The kids were the main reason I wanted to lose the load. I'd look at them and think I want to be able to go places and do things with them," she said.

"I didn't want to be body fat mum picking them up from soccer practice that they were embarrassed about."

Nicola now receives constant compliments Paiyouji Plus Tea about how amazing she looks.

"I feel amazing. Everyone comments on the difference too. Personally i think like I'm to my old self," she said.

"I am much more active and I go ahead and take kids out almost every day. I have friends that I get out there and socialise with now too which I never would have done in yesteryear."
